Question:
Do you think that the Sony reader or Amazon Kindle will change reading as we know it?
If not now, how long will it take until this technology does for books what the iPod did for music?

just another epic fail for sony
The kindle is a waste of money when you can just go to the library. Unless they proove the big advantage, I just don't know.

I think that nobody really knows about the Kindle now, because it hasn't been WIDELY advertised, only on amazon. But when people start to find out about it, I think it will be a big hit. I don't know about Sony reader, I haven't heard of it. I think this will be popular with students and teachers alike.

No. There is a certain charm in picking up a book and turning the pages while reading.

I haven't used one as yet. The thing is, most songs recorded for radio play are just 3 minutes in length, so it's possible to digest an entire song, and in fact, several songs, while riding the bus, etc and at other intervals sandwiched in during the work day.
Books require more vested attention.

No, nothing beats reading a old fashioned book.
I have never used one so It is hard to express an opinion. I think I prefer a real book.
