Question:
Going Green...for it or against it?
Some may be wondering how you could be against it, but think of cost. How expensive everything is (electric cars, solar panels, even organic food). Or maybe the thought that the government isn't doing enough to give us the opportunities to get started going green.

Where do you stand?

For it. But what is stupid - they make the stuff to help environment more expensive than regular cars. What is up with that??

Most attempts by the government and organizations to urge citizens to go "green" has wasted more resources than doing nothing in the first place.

I think the government isn't doing enough to get us started. I am for it for sure. But like you said it cost more up front. Just to buy a hybrid car cost $8000-15000 you wouldn't save that much in gas for 100 years. There are small things that we can all do that will help though. Don't mow at certain times. Walk if you can. Unplug unused lamps. PLANT A TREE! All these things will help.

Being for it is obvious, and necessary.

We all need to go green for it to mean anything.

I will but i won't turn to a Eco-Freak.
No matter how expensive it is, it must be done. Either spend our precious money to clean up our own messes, or leave the world to diffuse for the younger generation. I dont want to have to deal with other people's mistakes.

I thin it is a good idea to go green. Help ther environment and save money in the long run!

I agree, it costs more to go green, and in this economy, we have to do whatever is more economical.

I agree with many others. Im mean, I'd love to put solar panels on my roof -- who wouldn't want free electricity? They cost $26,000 installed (effective ones) where I live. I'd never make that money back. As soon as my efforts aren't just expensive ways to prove a point, I'm all in.

What's the benefit of going "green"? WHO will benefit? Going "green" presents more questions than answers.

WE should go green, but you need people who will support and not just say it
