Some may be wondering how you could be against it, but think of cost. How expensive everything is (electric cars, solar panels, even organic food). Or maybe the thought that the government isn't doing enough to give us the opportunities to get started going green.
Where do you stand?
For it. But what is stupid - they make the stuff to help environment more expensive than regular cars. What is up with that??
I think the government isn't doing enough to get us started. I am for it for sure. But like you said it cost more up front. Just to buy a hybrid car cost $8000-15000 you wouldn't save that much in gas for 100 years. There are small things that we can all do that will help though. Don't mow at certain times. Walk if you can. Unplug unused lamps. PLANT A TREE! All these things will help.
No matter how expensive it is, it must be done. Either spend our precious money to clean up our own messes, or leave the world to diffuse for the younger generation. I dont want to have to deal with other people's mistakes.
I agree with many others. Im mean, I'd love to put solar panels on my roof -- who wouldn't want free electricity? They cost $26,000 installed (effective ones) where I live. I'd never make that money back. As soon as my efforts aren't just expensive ways to prove a point, I'm all in.
