Yes, and I am sure he has directly or indirectly impacted everybody who listens to music whether they realized it or not. I know he was a little off the deep end in his later years, but I bet he had some reason behind some of his madness that we couldn't understand because we don't know the whole story. That being said, crazy or not, he was a musical genius and he has some awesome songs.
