I used a key instead of the wireless remote to unlock my car this morning. This caused the engine immobilizer to kick in, thus my car will not start. I've tried locking and unlocking the car with the keyless entry, with the key, various combinations, but I can not get it to reset. Anybody know the secret to fixing this? Its a 2005 Hyundai Sonata. Thanks!!

I'm not familiar with a Hyundai really but unlocking with the Key instead of remote should not affect the Immobi, I've heard of alarm issues because of doing that, but not immobilizer. You may very well have an issue with your immobilizer but it's not due to your unlocking. You'll need to go to a dealer for diagnosis. You could try a battery disconnect and retry or if you have a second key try using it
The key you used to unlock the car has obviously not been syncronised to the vehicle or has lost it's code. you need someone with a diagnostic machine that can read and program Hyundai immobiliser systems to re-sync the keys to the car. Good luck there are a few garages or lock-smiths around that can do this but they can be hard to find.
