Well it may be boring sometimes, but I have started realizing that we need to know what is going on in our country and world. It is stuff that is affecting our lives and the lives of our future children and grandchildren. We need to know about it so that if its not good we can change it.
Yeah, I'm pretty sick of it. The politicians, once they get into office are in their own little world, where nothing matters except what privileges and brownie points they get.(All we can get are Winzy points.) They have no concept of the real world, of once they lived. It becomes the live of smoozing and kissing butt and making themselves look good for the press, so they can keep their cushy jobs.
I guess I would have to say there is a sort of balance for me because as much as I would love to just shut my self out of anything politics, I have to remember how important it is to know what is going on.
Actually, I am sick and tired of hearing about Obama and the tactics of the Congress
I like my local politics because THAT effects me. Washington can go take a hike. All I have to do with that is survive until the next administration and figure out how to survive that one etc.
