table scraps are very bad for your dog especially skin off chicken it effects there kidneys. also your dashhound will be over weight and hard on there spine my dashhound had a spine injury and was parilized and she was not over weight we thought we were going to have to put her to sleep but I found a carpractor and he helped her regain her legs and body functions back .so every day I say to my self yes there really is a god!
its ok to give them treats all the time, but scraps from a table should only be given lighlty. they get used to it very fast and will want food from the table instead of their own dog food.
Dachshunds are susceptable to spinal injuries and paralysis. Excessive weight is a grave concern. I am very careful about snacks and table scraps with my dachshunds. Paralysis makes a dachshund sooo unhappy.
