So who's tried the newest version of Windows and what do you think?

I loved my XP machine till it died. I wish I could kill Vista.

Windows 7 is pretty good. IT is al lot better than Vista. I hated Vista...

windows 7 insnt awesome but it is okay personally i like mac and i would reccommend it it is different but in the long run better

Windows Vista is horrible. I chose not to upgrade.

However, now that the 22nd of October is past, the newest version is Windows 7. I have not tried the retail release yet (it should get here today or tomorrow!), but I did the beta test and was very pleased with it. It ran smoothly, programs installed easily, and the search function actually WORKED, unlike any other Windows search I've ever used.

i think its great. it also downloads fast and is geat for movie editing

i had vista for about a year until my laptop crashed. then i switched back to xp. while vista does have its advantages i guess i prefer the feel of xp overall :)

Funny how Macs dont get as many problems and are alot easier to use! As my mum used to say, an apple a day still keeps the doc away!

Windows Vista is amazing! It operates a thousand times better than XP. Currently, Windows 7 is vista...I'm guessing that'll quickly change after the launch.

From the specs, it still seems to be vista...but with minor tweaks which they could've simply added though a service pack update or something >_>

Well Windows 7 has the same setup as Vista but its no where as bad and screwy as Vista. I actually have it on this computer. it runs so much smother.

Ya vista is quite annoying at times

I've tried it.Looks way cooler than vista and is looking gr8 so far
