He's a sorry excuse for a human being. He got off way too easy and doesn't deserve to see the light of day. What kind of messages are they sending to people, that it's okay to do these horrible things because you'll get off easy and as long as you apologize it's no big deal? C'mon! He deserves to experience the same pain and torture he inflicted on all those animals he abused and killed.
As for the NFL, if they knew what was good for them they would never allow him back. The only job he should be allowed to do is clean toilets for less than minimum wage. See how you like that Vick.
He did his time, and it appears he learned a lesson. Remember too that in southern states, dog fights existed as a form of entertainment...and for gambling...before it became politically incorrect and illegal. So let's give him a chance to do some good in the world
If the NFL knows what's good for its reputation long-term, it will never let Michael Vick return. It remains to be seen if he'll "make good" on what he has done -- it all depends how he acts after prison.
He will NEVER be let back into the NFL. And I think it'd just be naive for him to go back to fighting dogs. I personally think he's been let off too easy, but his entire reputation has been wrecked, so maybe thats enough...?
Although, he may have had to suffer more than another person would have for doing the same thing, I still believe that when the justice system is trusted to bring about punishment, we should accept the decision they make. He has served his time. It's over. He will have to live with what he did for the rest of his life, more so than the average man. He should be given a chance to play and move on with his life. If run-on sentences were illegal, I'd be in jail, but I'm too tired to care right now. out-y
i estimate he will eventually find his way onto an NFL team if not sometime this season, definitely the next. he has too much talent for someone not to take a shot at him, despite his past. my guess would probably be the raiders.
i highly doubt he goes back to fighting dogs. nobody can possibly be the dumb, but who knows.
i do not think he should still be in jail for what he did. really, other than the fact that he broke a law, i didn't have that big a problem with what he did to begin with. dogfighting has been going on for hundreds of years and he probably got punished a lot worse than what a lot of other offenders have.
he should still be in jail but i don't care if he gets out of jail and he will never go back into the NFL he was banned, and the dog fighting thing, maybe lol
I think he would be able to rejoin the league if not for the shame that would be brought on the team that took him in. He made a foolish mistake and should be persecuted no further for it
