The meaning of life is differant for each person. It has been the subject of much philosophical, scientific, and theological speculation throughout history and there have been a large number of answers from many different cultural and ideological backgrounds.
If you want my perspective, there is no meaning. Life just exists and serves no purpose other than to exist. We don't have an "Ultimate destiny" of some sort as a human race, we exist just because we exist. Life carries on. Life has no end.
Life = The property or quality that distinguishes living organisms from dead organisms and inanimate matter, manifested in functions such as metabolism, growth, reproduction, and response to stimuli or adaptation to the environment originating from within the organism.
