Europe – Greek Islands, Italy, Portugal Golf Courses, South France, are some, but if you’re planning it in the winter you might want Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, etc.
Bermuda has been my favorite place to visit so far. It's beautiful, fun and has really nice and friendly people. Very fun and inviting atmosphere. I would highly recommend taking a trip there. I'm going to St. Maarten later this year, so we'll see, that may be my new favorite place depending on how the trip goes and how it is there.
Las Vegas...NV....it is cool it has gambling and many good shows....saw Celine Dion there in 2005 but I love it since my grown children and now my granddaughter live there....I can only visit once a year since I live in NW PA and cannot afford to visit more right now....but a family reunion is just so cool and hope to arrive in Vegas Fall 2009 when my second grandchild is do to arrive in this world....
Out of the places I've been: London, the south of France, and Amsterdam are all beautiful. London has beautiful old buildings and breathes history. The south of France has the most beautiful water - a shade of teal- against a pebble beach. And Amsterdam has quirky slanted buildings and canals that reflect splendidly at night.
But I dream of going to Venice. For the romance of it all.
It depends on what you want to see... for differences in culture there are sharper contrasts to our own in Asia. If you want primarily western culture.. backpack through Europe.
I have a lot of places I would love to see, Greece, Austrailia, and India, but the top of my list is Africa and Jerusalem. I have been to Europe (spent 2 months in France with a friend when I was 16) and would love to go back now that I am older and can appreciate things more. But I have wanted to go to Africa since I was a child. I had a chance to go on a mission trip a few years ago but was unable to because of health reasons. Traveling all over the US is cool too, a friend and I drove cross country and had a blast for about 6 weeks. Hope you get to trip away!! Have fun and be safe!!
