I have seen KISS in concert. (I ended up in the front row.)They do put on a good show, they are showmen;but, their songs are kind of boring because they all sound the same after awhile. Hearing Gene Simmons live sing he has kind of a monotonic voice which, at times, is way off key. (Not too impressed-good for preteens-than genre. Reminds me of a carnival act with all their costumes. Especially wearing them when they are over the age of 50. They're like a side show.) AC/DC: most of their songs sound alike-no variety. They are better singers than KISS, however. But overall, the better stage performers are KISS. It's an act the audience wants and that is what they get. Pyrotecnics and costumes and loud guitars-the act which most people want to see, not necessarily talent.
